Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor Check Engine Light ?
hello i am having trouble i have a check engine light on and its saying its the Mass Air Flow Sensor is this normal? also i unplugged it and my car has more power will this hurt my car ? do u know of anyplace that is reasonable to get a mass air flow sensor cheap let me know too thanks
you can unplug it for a while, but its not really a good idea to,because the exhaust emissions will be a lot higher on it,if you want to you can get a good used one from a junk yard,but they come with no guarantee at all ,it may last a day, a month, or forever,i have bought a lot of used ones and had good luck with them,as for a new one their well over 200 bucks for that car,good luck hope this helps.
