charged with abh on my kids they say i hit them with a belt but i never did that but the police are charging ?
me for this but there is no evidence about it
and the police have got it in for me
There has to be some sort evidence - your kids must have made a statement against you, or their mother has.
For it to be a charge of ABH, we are talking quite a lot of injury, not just a little bruise or something, but knocking someone unconscious, serious head to toe bruises etc caused by the assault. I would also be expecting medical evidence of the injuries, although this is no longer a necessity for a charge of ABH.
The police cannot prosecute unless someone has given some form of evidence against you.
They have not got it in for you - whoever made the complaint against you has.
Please explain this further before we can give you any serious advice.
