HELP- I think my neighbor might be a gopnik?!?!?
His name is Yorg but we call him Yorgie. He has a mostly shaved head and always runs around in a fedora or one of those black leather little cabbie hats. Frequently seen in a wifebeater or garish tacky button down shirt, and often unseasonably paired with a black leather trenchcoat and shiny sunglasses, even at night, even in the summer. He likes metal and techno and tells people he is a DJ but I am skeptical. He enjoys drinking screwdrivers or malt liquor and telling everyone how they do it in Ukraine. Full of fun stories about his tortured childhood, or the time Ukrainian police broke his hand. He wrecked my pickup truck when he borrowed it to go buy blunt wraps at 3 am. HELP IS YORGIE A GOPNIK?! Yorg is not a very Ukrainian name. Sounds Swedish.
