That is why they call it "The Bowling Shirt". Bowling shirts were only meant to be used by bowlers, and some fans. However, today they are part of the fashion. Bowlers don't even use these shirts anymore. Some still do, while others use simple t-shirts, as they are more comfortable. These shirts are usually very bright, and their colors are not very common.
