Know any cute/cool/funny fancy dress ideas?
Im going to a fancy dress party in February, and I want something really like wow! but I still want to look nice 
but I don't want to look slutty or slaggy because its just not me! and I would look terrible.
and i've searched the internet but its just full of "Sexy police woman" and "Sexy nurse" 
and I know I just would look sexy at all, and it doesn't help that im 18 but look 14 ¬¬

you could go dressed as a cartoon/movie/television character, or a celebrity. Going for something or some one really stereotypical is good, such as Paris Hilton would be good because people will know who you are dressed up as. I posted some links above, you don't have to buy anything from those websites, but they are good for ideas...
You could go as a goth, pirate, vampire, fairy, boxer, diver, surfer, disco person, superhero, cowgirl, indian, a hippy, alice in wonderland, school girl, nerd/geek, police woman... If you have seen the film st Trinians, there are some people that you could dress up as from there.

For many of us when the invite arrives through our door for the latest fancy dress themed party, the panic attack ensues. For others, the exhibitionist and party animal persona kicks in and we accept the invite without any hesitation. For all of us though, dressing in fancy dress costumes can be fun.
There are so many occasions where wearing fancy dress can be fun; milestone Birthdays, Stag and Hen Nights, Xmas, Halloween to number but a few. Fancy dress can make a party by being the ultimate ice-breaker and is a huge confidence builder for the shy and reserved amongst us because we can hide behind whichever character we have chosen and let our hair down. Whilst dressing up for and attending the event provides us with the most fun, you can also have a great time planning what you will be wearing with friends. Try on your outfit over a few drinks, beg and borrow accessories from friends and trial run your makeup and hair. Even more fun is to take photos of each other as the costume evolves or even to film the creation on your camcorder.
Many people decide the theme of their party in advance, whilst others leave the theme up to their guests. There are so many themes to choose from, some will appeal more than others dependant on our interests and character. Here are just a few fancy dress ideas to get you started:

One very important point to make is that you have to be comfortable to get the most enjoyment. Make sure the outfit fits well. Ensure it is suitable for the weather conditions you will be wearing it in. If you will be dancing, walking or even standing for a period of time, choose an outfit that is appropriate for you. Finally, check out the guest list so that you choose a theme or costume that is not likely to cause offense.
