Do you think your local firefighters and police officers earn their pay?
I've been reading old questions, and am stunned at the number of people who believe that firemen and policemen sit on their butts all day just collecting taxpayer monies - that they don't really work and do nothing to earn that money. I think that these people should have to wear signs proclaiming that they don't want any help when their house burns down or a criminal has a knife to their throat. I am livid.
Yes, they absolutely earn their pay. But you know there will always be people who want something to complain about. How somebody else is getting something undeserved. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
