Hinky Pinkies? Never even heard of them!! But I now have to help my 5th grader with them and I have NO idea!?
Need to know about hinky pinkies and what these could be...
what is a fashionable rascal
to consider and peep is to _____and_____
what is a hidden police badge
what is a decorous glue
to see a scorched spot is to_____
what is vintage money
what is an out-of-control locomotive
to detect a sweetheart is
Clearly I have looked on the internet because it has brought me here. I have searched for these and honestly have no clue. I don't EVER remember these in any grade let alone the 5th grade. :O(
A "hink pink" or "hinky pinky" is a pair of rhyming words that are synonyms for the two words in the prompt. "Vintage money," for example, is "old gold," I think; similarly, "to find a sweetheart" is "to discover a lover," I believe. It's just a word puzzle; if you're really desperate, you might be able to look up a list of them with answers on the internet.
